Vintage passenger cars at Union Station in LA

Are there any train fan out in LA? I have made a few trips to Union Station here in Los Angeles and while waiting for my son to arrive nose around a little. I found that behind the station they were restoring two PRR Pullman cars one red one green and a California Zephyr coach. They appeared to be restoring them. does anyone out there know where these are going?
