...thread that was running for a long time titled something like "HO History Needed" or something like that? In it was all sorts of HO history and pictures of some pretty neat stuff. Using the forum search function yields nothing... but I KNOW there was a thread like this. Anyone else remember it? Is it still "out there" in the annals of OGR "Pages Past" or gone forever???

Thanks for the effort, but nope, that ain't the one.
The one I'm talking about included almost everybody that was in HO: Gilbert, Tyco, Varney, Athearn, AHM, etc, etc. Huge thread, lots of pics.
There really was some great history info therein, as well as some fantastic pics of "like new/excellent" examples, as well as vintage pictures of sets, etc. Great thread. The info therein needed to be archived in some way.
