Lionel UP es-44's and the tank train.
Recently I was in Hagerstown, MD to take my dog to the vet. While in town I visited The Train Room model train store. I had a great time exploring the attached Lionel museum and the owner Charles Mozingo found a set of passenger cars I was looking for. I was the only customer in the store at that time so Charles even showed me his personal layout. I really appreciated his hospitality and large selection. Enjoy the video:
Nice video. Where is Iona Island?

Try going to my Youtube channel following the link in my signature. The Train Room video will be the top one. Please let me know if you are successful and if so what you think of the vid.

My contribution this weekend is actually an older video, back from the Boy Scout Train Show, Dale City, VA on March 11, 2012. I found it after the discussion in another thread about locomotives to use with the PRR Fleet of Modernism cars. Here's a train behind the PRR Jr. Mikado #9631, coming off the H**L Gate Bridge.

On Saturday, April 28, 2012, the Ligonier Valley Rail Road Association hosted its fourth annual model railroad home tour, and the Pittsburgh Independent Hi-Railers were set up at a fire department social hall in Latrobe, PA as one of the stops on the tour.
Here is my Lionel Legacy K4 Pacific #1361 running on the layout (and you will see a few brief shots of a couple of other engines that were running that day).

A very scary wreck
This is my first attempt at posting a video, so please bear with me if it runs a little long or is too jumpy. This is what I've been running on my layout this week.

"Small layout...Big dreams"
The wreck aftermath luckily no damage
Mike, great job on your video. Really like your 4 train operation layout. Lots of action in a small space. Are there any switches on the layout?
Liam, someone must have placed a penny on the track!

Hi Steve. Thanks for noticing. No, there are no switches. When I started this garage layout, I didn't really know how "permanent" it was going to be, so I tried to keep it basic and simple...FasTrack instead of something more "high-end", no switches, just plain old ovals. I wanted to jam as many operating trains as I could into the 8 x 12 footprint. I would've liked to have big frieght yards or sidings and all that, but I knew I'd enjoy it more this way.

Nice video. Where is Iona Island?
Thanks Eddie! Iona Island is a part of Bear Mountain State Park in Rockland County, NY. The island used to be used as a munitions depot for the US Navy until either the end of either Korea or Vietnam. The buildings are now used as shops for the State Dept. of Parks and the island itself is now a bird sanctuary. On any given day you can go to Iona Island and half the people will be there to watch birds while the other half are there for the trains lol!

AWESOME VIDEO'S EVERYONE
I'VE POSTED THIS VIDEO ONCE BEFORE A WHILE BACK.
THIS IS A WILD RIDE AROUND MY LOWER 072 AND MY
UPPER 054 RUN'S
THANKS, ALEX
Gee Alex, how did you ever figure out the track plan for your layout. Taking the "tour" there are so many levels and diverse tracks that I can't keep up with figuring it out. Nice video and layout. Thank you for posting this again.

Steve
Thanks Tex for the kind words
This track plan is wild I worked on the track plan for
3 years. You can run an engine on 4 different runs and
it will take about 7 to 8 minutes to complete. Or you
can keep each run separate.
THANKS AGAIN, ALEX
