Welcome to the last Weekend Photo Fun before Christmas.
Every year I take trains to church and run them around the two Christmas trees for the kids.
Let's see your pctures.

My first early Christmas present but why did Lionel licence a 1/34 scale item with O27 licence plate on the truck?
Happy Christmas to you all from this side of the pond James

Eastwood did quite a few diecast vehicles both in O Gauge and what could be considered Standard Gauge. I have a bunch of them, I like the Eastwood / Lionel diecast hot air balloon and Eastwood / Lionel blimp the best.
One of our Forum members had a request this week for Lionel to do a scale PE Conductor Car. Here is mine thanks to Forum Member Keith R.
NICE WORK JDFonz!!!!! We need to see more of that!!!! Very Disney look and that is great!
Thanks Dave, it's a work in process...
The poorly scanned image of CB&Q prototype F2 #153 is from Jeff Wilson's book F Units: The Diesel That Did It, p. 15. I haven't figured out how to add text once a photo has been added to the text of the reply. Will be grateful for a "how to."
I don't know, Alan....I think your tree might need a few more lights!
Beautiful shot! That would make a real nice Christmas Card!! Mind if I "borrow" your image and place an order on Shutterfly?? LOL

Thanks guys for the nice comments, the mountains are all 100% blue or pink foam, carved with heat, then painted. I will keep you posted on progress. I do have before and after photos of this area.

It is amazing the results folks get using this method. You have done an excellent job! I will look forward to seeing your photos!
Walt,
The last of 2013. All nice looking photos! Next comes 2014, and we are looking forward to seeing how you improved! You really go to great lengths to make a large, super Christmas layout. Do you have one you leave up year round too?
I just recalled you are from the Pittsburgh area. So I see you live in Allison Park. Not far from where I work in Gibsonia.
Mike...thanks! The tree has over 1000 lights on it...I think about 1200 but I gave up on that. All I know is that the electric company installed a separate meter for the tree!!...LOL!! You have my permission to use the picture..
By the way, the tree is about 11 feet tall as it sits in an area of our home that has a 24 foot ceiling...
Alan
