Weekend Photo Fun 12/22/17 HONGZ Christmas Edition

I know I showed this in the Christmas train related ornaments,but for anyone that loves n scale copies of Lionel trains I converted this Hallmark item into a working n scale car (Lionel 3472).

Been a busy train month so lots of things going on, 1st received my 1st 4 AML G Box cars, they were worth the wait I ordered 2 more.

Here's my first G scale steam engine. She does not show her age!

Swinging Monkeys ?????? What?  Anyways my secret Santa she came thru for me this year as she found me a G scale swinging Monkey with a GI Joe looking 1/24th scale action figure with what appears to be Kong Fu grip looking. I've been working on a few G scale building for our new Modules that the monkey was wanted for.

I have an extra Aristo tender for this MTH engine that I can swap out anytime I want to. Maybe I should make it converted to oil?

My youngest Daughter ask if we could do more shoveling as our Xmas presents always get opened at 7pm A new American tradition so we headed to the Museum to play with my new Monkey and some G scale. USAT RS-3 Conversion. Thank's Jeff and all Merry Xmas Train Friends.

With more Racks I need more motive power so I just picked these up. One unboxed already, tonight I will get the other out with sound to install simple phoenix.

Not the biggest Conrail fan but these loco's are for the new module layout for shows, They will be in memory of one of our members who pasted away this past fall.

So had a chance to open one up, top of Loco paint butt ugly!!!! no wonder Conrail went out of business had some ugly tops on there loco's  Black, what real RR company  paints  top of cab Black and survives????  if the paint scheme real to life.

I will CSX them and make it all better.

On another note, to all my Old men train friends, it's cold out here in upstate N.Y. 15 degree's I believe and 0 tonight. Please stay indoors and be mindful of the cold and your age as we have lost a few friends this's way in recent past. We will be here this weekend late to run trains indoors if you wish.

Thanks Larry, is that Lionel ? cool looking fake paint jobs. But if they were real might have kept them in the game. I remember tops of Conrail  Loco's going thru ditch's a s kids  1977  I think
