Couple of shots of B&A Hudson 608. Engine was a mid 90's MTH Proto 1. Always was a strong runner. A few years ago it was upgraded with EOB by Forum member Superwarp. I re lettered it as a B&A and even gave it the trademark square sandome. Even with some recent acquisition of some Legacy steamers as well as some with DCS. This one remains one of my favorites. It's been off the layout for a few years and just recently got a good cleaning and lube job. Still runs as strong as ever.

I broke my one and only rule this week. No modern diesels! But this one reminded me of growing up in Plymouth Michigan. I can remember the day these showed up in town...

Thanks to another Forum member, I really enjoy running it  on the layout.

And the sound is incredible for a TMCC engine...

Did anyone make a dummy that would look good with the GP30?

I'm pretty sure that Lionel, for one, has a non-powered GP-30 in Chessie colors.

I looked but cannot find it in TMCC. I believe there is a Legacy Gp30 that is a non powered? Can you run the two together?

I don't know any reason why it wouldn't.  They're not tethered or anything like that, so can't think of any reason why not.  Don't know how old your TMCC is...is it scale?  Are you maybe worried about mis-matched size?

Great Photos Guys!

Its scale, honestly your right the new Legacy GP-30 only has light features and electro-couplers? Should be able to "lash" it up?

Are you modeling a particular golf course?  I ask because I have a model of the clubhouse of Royal Portrush Golf Club in N. Ireland that was done for me about 30 years ago and I'd love to incorporate it into a layout, but am utterly clueless in how to do it.

No, not modeled after any particular course. The task here was a nine hole course using the Dept 56 perfect putts (operating) and Dept 56 putting greens. The putting greens became the tee's, after cutting them to size. This course is actually 4 separate pieces. Once the initial structures were made, it was a matter of moving the greens and tees around to figure out locations, elevations, fairways, etc. A static course would actually be quite easy compared to this!

AM Models and scratch built base.

SHACK1

AM Models makes 4 different O scale sheds. If your railroad is steam era, you can't have too many small buildings on your layout

Your son's personal record has been awarded ten merits for outstanding model railroad photo composition and lighting.
