AMCDave. Those are cool cars. I would love to own an AMC someday.
Dave that's an awesome Road Runner you have there. Looks great.
SIRT: Well, maybe you can make it next year. It was a great show. They had the highest number of cars in the history of the show. Carlisle always does a good job.

Thanks for the Roadside America photos. Hard to believe ONE man built all of those buildings. I remember them being measured out to 3/8" = 1'. Makes me wish sometimes that he had run Standard gauge instead of 0 - or even G or 1. Well worth the drive to see at least once.
Thanks, Spence, I sure enjoy doing it. I'm very glad you like it.

Those two shots look great, Dave C. One can almost smell the gritty air. The bottom photo in particular feels like places I have been within the precincts of steel mills in Pittsburgh back in the 50's & 60's.

Wow Dave C, do you have a photo link?
Always great things presented from Frank M too.
Picked up a cattle car and platform for the Lionel Display Layout. Complete and in really great shape.

I own Chrysler's 'by marriage' as such...AMC's! Love to go to Carlisle some day......for now AMC's in WV......
And so we don't stray to far off trains...my 73 Javelin is sitting on the ex C&O roadbed of the Greenbrier branch. And to further make this train related.....rumors that there may be rails on this roadbed again......

Me too Matt. Some people have made Barracudas out of the new Challenger by changing the grill and the 1/4 panel and adding gills but nothing from the factory. A new Road Runner would be so cool.

That's a beautiful Javelin Dave. I always liked those cars. Great picture. I plan to get some shots of my car next to the railroad tracks. The C&O is one of my favorite roads. I have two C&O locomotives. Both are 3 rail.

Loved seeing the pictures of Roadside America. The first time I went was at least 68 years ago. I am amazed that something like that has continued for 80 years, especially since it is the middle of no where

Oh my gosh, Dave.....how exquisite! One of my favorite liveries!!!!!
Drop dead, gorgeous!!!!!

Brian,
I love the GN set. The GN Empire Builder has always been my favorite passenger train.
A favorite spot...and passtime...
Your saying that, Trumptrain, is a lot of fun to read, I must say. Thank you, thank you.

Always great things presented from Frank M too.
That's especially joyful to hear, considering your masterful skills. Thank you very much!
I still have a strong impression in my mind of your wonderful winter scene featuring a frozen pond, a tire-swing, and an abandoned, snow-inundated pickup truck. I used that work as inspiration when I worked on dropping permanent winter on a client's layout. He continues to enjoy the results.
Have the best of health and happiness, always.

Thanks for the comments.
Steve, I try to post a photo or 2 every week on this thread. Sorry no album to link to. At some point I hope to get my favorites over the years and post them on the Forums album page.
Peter, over the years I managed to aquirre all 3 rd. nos. of the green NH DL109's. They are at home on my early 40's themed layout and are the only diesels. I use them on freights as they were used in that service during the war years. I weathered mine and looking at many photos. Mine are still under weathered. These engines ran around the clock during the war. I don't think the ever saw the wash rack.
