Wow Glenn, that's quite a collection you have.
I need to get out there and take more pictures. I spent some major time on re-ballasting. Mother nature remind me how much it takes to run a RR! I did take a break and look at converting my USA Dockside to command. Too many engines on deck at one time!

Good photos everybody!
BT: Wow! That's the same packaging my Tyco Santa Fe GP20 came in back in the early 60s! IF I ever find a Santa Fe in the box like those UP's, I'll be all over it.
A blast from my HO past, a converted AHM B&O 2-10-2 in the prehistoric year of 1976 at the Oak Park club:

Great picture's everyone!
Rusty:
Are those vintage pics, or just a vintage engine? What did you do to "convert" it? Looks mighty nice in the pics.

Both of the above.
Here's a pic of the original from the HO Scale Resource:
An NKP Berk tender, Cal-Scale, wire and a little body work removing some of the cast-on detail and making the four sand domes into two. The innocence of youth and the lack of fear attacking what was a a moderately expensive ($49.95 at the time) locomotive
This is one of the few AHM reworks I kept. Here's a more recent picture:

Thanks for elaborating on what'cha did. Even by today's standards, it looks great!
Okay... time to post a pic!
Here's my latest acquisition. It arrived this past Friday.
Now, why in the world would I want a Tennessee Central engine on my KC Lines layout that has a Kansas City theme??
Well, the answer to THAT silliness is over here in THIS thread...

A little late to the party this weekend, but since I'm still on vacation, it is still the weekend.
Northern Pacific 1984, a Class W-5 mikado, drifts into the arrival tracks at Worley Yard on the Spokane Southern.
Model is a Key Limited import from 1984 if I recall correctly. I have a couple of more of these to paint, and this guy needs a trip to the spray booth for weathering. Before I do that I want to install a Soundtraxx Tsunami sound decoder in her.
One of the problems with building a large home railroad is I get hung up on the layout building, and don't spend time building / painting / weathering motive power and equipment. As soon as I get the main line back in operation, and start op sessions again, that has got to change.
Regards,
Jerry
