Thanks Bill, Alex, and James!
James....the station is fairly large at around 4 feet long and a little over 30 inches tall. The Disney kit lends itself to all kinds of possibilities and certainly is not HO in scale. It is O-scale in size with tons of parts that one can use for lots of kit bashing.
Alan
Seacoast,
Yes, the elevated trestle is Jim's from Bridgeboss. The track is a figure 8. I waited until the interior was finished before I closed the loop and built it to the wall. The curves are O-80 and O-72 in the front and O-54 and O-45 in the back. The video answers these question and gives all the details from start to finish. As usual the video about half construction and half train action. You should get all the ideas you need from the video.

Are these the diesels you are trying to capture? I shot these last month, they were parked south of the ferry station.

Yes Ray I have the SIRT 100 feet behind my house and it's hard to get a good photo of these diesels because they go by pretty fast.
Thanks very much, Alex
Happy Weekend Folks, The G&O railroad in San Leandro CA (SF Bay Area) is embarking on a major line relocation and upgrade of the O gauge coast line. The G&O is a garden railroad being built by the San Leandro Historical Railway Society. It features both G and O gauge (3-rail) lines. The website is SLHRS.org
This is the original line that included a temporary trestle. The trestle was very unstable. The train is powered my an MTH diesel. The truss bridge is by Lionel.
The earth movers have arrived. The new line is being carved out of the hill side.
This is another view of the construction. You can see the stakes that mark the location of the new O gauge line.
Best wishes to all, Joe

Stostu not only would he stop he would derail the train, she's mighty fine looking in a bathing suit. Thanks, ALex
Following Alan's example, we secured 8 of the Disney kits and my son, mini-Muffin, assembled them into a train station complex for us..... Bridge Boss made is a 48" 5 Track Train Shed which we just this weekend installed....
My SO, Chocolat Eclair, snapped this shot of Mr Muffin putting in the trees.....
More shots soon....
Happy weekend!
Fabulous....
Fabulous is right, Mr. Muffin! And I really like Patrick H's handsome passenger platform pavements among the rails; they really look nice and esp. well done.
Frank M.
MR Muffin that looks really nice, I always tell Alan the same thing those buildings are so detailed. Great Job
Thanks, Alex
Mr. Muffin strikes again!!! Nice work.
Nice shots everybody.

If you ever go by the old Navy Homeport you can see all four lined up by the SIR shops across the street. They use these for MOW work trains. They are also the backup to pull the cars in the snow if the third rail gets covered.
I am surprised that nobody has done these yet. They are pretty popular with commuter roads now. Metro North has the painted in the New Haven scheme

Thanks Ben I must pass by there sometime and take a look
Thanks, Alex
Rich what an awesome etc... incredible job and shot!!
Rich,
Spectacular as always. The only thing I don't like is on the cover of the DVD...."The Last Stop"?? I hope your not implying that this is the last one. Seriously, you can take a break....but finished? I hope not. I am so looking forward to this new effort. I'm thinking of making my own DVD only it will show several different ways on how not to build a layout. Five years in the making and I'm still not done with it but I sure learned what not to do and I'm still learning
