Added a Lionel elevated Oil Tank to my layout. Many parts including a connecting walkway were made of metal. Very impressive. The only thing wrong was that the metal tabs that need to be depressed to insert wires to light the lamp have such small opening and are in such a tight space that it is virtually impossible to clamp a wire in their openings. I think it is a basic design thing. If others of you can get it done quickly then I probably need to go to GG scale!!!

Ha! Not uncommon for Lionel and those fahnestock clips. I usually try depressing the tab with a screwdriver, trying not to jab it into my finger, and slip the wire in. One of the issues with these is that the mounting rivet is usually in the way of depressing the tab...not enough vertical room.
