Thanks for not asking me to go to your YT channel to see something of your lay out--I much prefer to simply scroll through what folks post here.

Paul, the trees look great! I like how you keep busy on your layout!
NS6770FAN, the trucks turned out looking very nice! Good Job!
Andy , you got yourself some nice looking shelves there! Room for more cars!
I worked a little on a new control panel, I will post some pictures tomorrow sometime! LOL
The snow keeps falling looks like I’ll be snowed in tomorrow hope to have some bench time and run some trains. We’re supposed to get around 7” of snow

Video eats data and everyone doesn't have unlimited data. I skip a lot of video for that reason. Some folk prefer not to use anything google related as well. Plus there is something to be said for a nice photo too.

Youtube is a great study tool! I did that last night. Watched two old films on steam in the 40s and 50s. Ive seen many times folks say steam trains only puff black if the crew didn't know what they are doing. HMMMM Most of the crews must have been rookies! Because those monsters sure did blow black! LOTS OF BLACK! LOL
Jim
Andy, Your shelves look great! They make for a nice look under the layout and keep cars handy for when you want to switch what you are running.
Tom, that meet of the Conrail and B&O looks great! Isn't it neat when you see this coming your way and can adjust speed a bit to treat the camera?
Mike, I'm looking forward to seeing what you did on the control panel.
I did a little work on a couple of adjustments to my SCARM track plan that DoubleDAZ Dave did most of the work for me last year. I'm getting the hang of it some more, but will need some help getting it right. I'll be posting them in my layout planning topic later once I have written up the description of what I'm did with it.

Mark, thank you so much for mentioning me. Yea, it was a total surprise and I only planned for the Conrail. Actually I never adjusted the speeds. Just luck of the moment. Luckily had my Legacy Controller to do the horns. But anyway, thank you so much for commenting!!
I added this next to one of my taller buildings. Looks real good. My fourth Menard's purchase.
Tom, Oh sorry I misunderstood when you said you had the controller you meant that allowed you to hit the horns! Excellent opportunity!!
Mike, That man lift will look great next to a tall building. Those are great allowing for work to be done quicker and safer than the old days when ladders and even scaffolding was needed for any kind of job. Sometimes it took longer to get the ladders in place and put away than it did to do the actual work. I certainly can attest to that.
I finished the Lionel 21" CSX Theater Car. I do not recommend loosening the floor to paint. There are many wires and data ribbons under the floor.
I will be doing the Union Pacific Theater Car next.
Sincerely, John Rowlen
@briansilvermustang really like the MP GP
Thanks you everyone on the shelves.
@MikeG there is 4 screws that hold them in. My dad went through the stuff behind the shelves and got rid of items. 90% of the stuff back there is stuff we never use but don’t want to throw out.
The right end (in pics ) is deeper and we can get behind them if needed. There’s minimum wiring in that section as well.
So today worked on my friends layout and more stuff was delivered for my layout too.
Pat, I love geared locomotives too! That Heisler looks great!
John, The theater car looks great! You have done a fantastic job on all the cars!
Brian, The MoPac engines look great!
Andy, Nice work on your friend's layout! The Konway signs look great!
John, It's always a source of pleasure to see your workmanship.
Had a little side by side running this afternoon on Corner Field Model Railroad Museum with NS OLS Dash 9 #9255 freight next to NS Conrail heritage ES44AC's #1976 & #1978 crude oil train.
John Rowlen, Fantastic work, the Folks look comfortable, Kon, your layout is amazing and the shelves need to be Filled with Trains & Things. Pat KN, nice looking Steamer, Briansilvermustang great Diesels, Mark Boyce, great comments, Moonson, Your the Best, Paul 2, your layouts coming along fine, and P51 Lee, Wow, Your Layout made the pages of OGR, THE Magazine, great pictures and neat layout....Everyone that has contributed has nice trains and layouts....Great Thread...
@leapinlarry thank you!! And great layout as well !! We are waiting till York probably, my father and I been on a buying spree for a while. We got the PRR passenger cars on the way though.
Tom, That is some exciting action. Even a steam first fan has to like that pair racing towards the viewer.
Larry, Thank you!! Wow, that is some fantastic tour of the layout the folks in the great looking theater car are getting!! What is the price for their fare?
I did a little tweaking on my track plan. I taught myself something new on SCARM today. I still need to get all my comments written up before posting.
Mark Boyce posted:Tom, That is some exciting action. Even a steam first fan has to like that pair racing towards the viewer.
Wow, thank you Mark. Yea, eventually I'll do a steam video. I'm glad you liked it!!
Finally getting a idea on our layout plan. The main table is 18ft long and 6.5 wide. The main line runs the edge of it and the side table. Still deciding on building placement. The elevator and future Budweiser plant are set. The inner line may be elevated to. The outer line is O72 and the inner is O54. Their will also be a lift section on the main, you can see the track floating for now. Nick T.
T8AFAO, Looks like you have a nice start there! Keep us posted!
GANDYDANCER1950, Nice work! Are those cardstock building?
I am still working on my control panel. I swear I will get some pictures posted later today sometime! LOL

@Mark Boyce- SCARM is a neat toy. I keep finding new tricks with it too.
@mike g.- we will patiently wait to see your next update.
@gandydancer1950 - nice buildings. Are they printed on card stock or kits?
@t8afao- looks like that's going to be a nice layout. Keep the progress photos coming.
@Wrawroacx - great videos. Keep 'em coming.
I think I caught up and mentioned everyone. If I missed anyone please keep up the good work.
ME? Shut down the Christmas Division of the RSJ&B yesterday. The Polar Express is heading to the backshops for storage till next season.
I finally got my PRR FM H10-44 on the rails. Very nice engine. I need to get a battery for the PS system, but otherwise it runs great.
Have a great Sunday- Bob

Hi Guys, here are the pictures I promised of my control panel so far. I know its lame, but I have to wait for the paint to dry before I add power and turn out switches, along with pinstriping ! I hope to have the switches and pinstriping installed later today when everything is dry. Then I can mount it to the layour near my airport!
that is going to look great Mike
Thanks Brian, its all made out of Plexiglass!
