Hi, I am converting a 3 rail engine to 2 rail and when I was disassembling the trucks I noticed 1 of the pickup wires going from the pickup to the circuit board was disconnected at the truck. I removed the circuit board and cut the wire from the board. That was about a year ago. Since then I have lost the wire. The other wires do not have the wire size printed on them or maybe I just can't see it. It is either 18, 20 or 22 gauge, I'm assuming. Does anyone know what gauge would be used from the pickups to the circuit board or in this case the motor? Or, doesn't it matter?
