One I would like see lighted marker lights on the front at a minimum.
Two, for those engines that have a slotted pilot, I would like to see them opened not cast in.

No more flat handrails on diesels. I have a RS-3 with the flat handrail. It was one of my first buys when I got into the hobby a year ago. Now it's really beginning to bother me. Lionel needs to get rid of that and never bring it back. It's weird.

Absolutely! Even if they were only operating rather than electro, two working couples is always better than one.

I'd like to see fan driven smoke units.
I second selectable 2 /4 chuffs per revolution for all the steamers. I run my steam nice and slow so the chuff rate matters to me. More than any other feature this has kept me away from LC+
