An Amtrak genesis would be nice
AC-9
A diecast ACE 3000 would be a great VisionLine offering and one that I'd purchase.
Id liek to see more diecast diesels all around. Ive got 7 diecast diesels right now and I love them all. How bout an SD40-2
Ok I'll try it again!
C&O K 2/K 3/K 3a w the big V and Ra Tenders
NYC H10
C&O L-2a non streamlined Hudson ............................................................Brandy!
PA and E-7
Matt, what's a LIEK?

Now you're talking! Especially if they offer the converted to oil burning version.
The same engine I've been asking for at least a decade: PRR T1 4-4-4-4, production version with portholes. Please don't do another prototype version; MTH has done theirs to death.
Streamlined Southern Railway Ps4 "1380" Tennessean

UP 4-8-2
UP Heavy Pacific #3218-3225
UP TTT 6/7
UP Bull Moose 2-8-8-0
UP COLA/COSF Early E (See Key Models recent)
CNW Yellow Jacket ES 4-6-2 and matching streamliner passenger cars.
Or maybe something as easy as new paint scheme on an existing model and just release a legacy FEF-3 #841 in Two-Tone Grey with silver-white striping/lettering.
But I don't have to worry.
None of the above will happen.....
.......and I'm ok with that since Sunset/3rd Rail/GGD just murdered my wallet by listening to their customers and making things I want to buy.
I am with Keith on this one. Ace 3000! And there will be all fantasy schemes!
N&W Jawn Henry, though probably too big of a niche product to be made. Missed 3rd Rail by a couple years. Then again, if the Centipedes got made....
Oh man I forgot about the Centipedes, it's funny that the best ones Lionel made were the up set that never really existed. Super awesome set
SD40-2, preferably high hoods...
Simple. A PRR I1sa Decapod.
This one would do.
The GP40-2 diesel-electric locomotive.
Andrew
CB&Q 9908
SP 4-6-2 P 9 Pacific, would go good with GGD Harriman Cars.

Looks like we have quite a wish-list here. Don't forget you've gotta pay for this stuff too -- not just make the suggestion!
Considering Lionel only produces one VL locomotive every year or two... Even if they only select a handful from this list, the pipeline will be full for quite some time.

DL&W 4-6-4 Hudson #1151-1155
DL&W 4-4-0 Camelback #952
DL&W 4-8-2 3cyl Mountain #2201-2225 or #1401-1405
DL&W 4-4-0 American #961, 964, 970, 972, 978, 981, 983, 987, 988, 992.
DL&W GP7 #966-970 with torpedo tubes on the roof.
start offering 2 rail engines too.......
That is why I selected a GP40-2 and GP40-2LW, because it is a locomotive that I could afford.
Also the Canadian National GP40-2LW was common for several years on the Grand Trunk Western.
The Rio Grande GP40-2 came through Michigan.
The DT&I GP40-2s all became Grand Trunk Western GP40-2s.

That's why we went with the AC-9.
Tooling already done and PAID FOR, just needs the upgrade! Coal or Oil
(But please, no "Daylighted" version. SHUDDER...)

And just what's wrong with a Daylight AC-9?

Why? Did the real ones do that?
None, for they cost too much, and they are to many things on them to go into Gomez Addams mode!

What has reality and prototype operations got to do with the demands of toy train operators?

Well, yes they are, but by some definitions, some toy train operators are also dangerous.

(Closest thing I could find to rolling eyes)
With some of the wishes you guys want, why not just tell Lionel, please screw me with prices.
Most could be built in plastic with better detail and a far cheaper price. I am amazed so many want diecast diesels, steam ok.
