good luck.. been trying to find one for my sunset 3rd rail PRR S1 unskirted duplex.. its 36" long..

The problem you're having is that single stall engine houses were found on small railroad operations.  These railroads would own smaller locomotives, not the giants you're trying to house.

The PRR had to custom-lengthen one stall of the Crestline roundhouse to fit what the railroad called "the big engine" (the S1).  A track led directly into this stall from the rear and did not cross the turntable since the S1 was far too long for the table.  It was turned on a wye where apparently it fairly frequently derailed.

As suggested above, I am right now in the process of converting one of the Korber

trolley barns into a three stall engine house.  But, it will be 22" long...each of the

four wall panels in the kit are 11".  You would need two kits and use two wall

panels from the second kit to get storage 33" long.  You also would need to do some modeling/kitbashing...

To include a Russian Decapod, a Williams 4-6-0. and a gas electric, I am having

to widen the building an inch on each side, and raise it on a "stone" foundation

another inch all the way around.  Your loco may be slightly taller than either of these. This to include these engines and track.  Perhaps only one of your stalls would have to be widened, and the other two stalls could be used for car shops (or, as I am widening, you might narrow, the building).

Hornby's O Gauge #2 lithographed engine shed is a wonderful addition to a toy train layout, but model railway enthusiasts will probably not want it.  One shed is 18 inches long and if you want to invest in multiples, you can accomodate virtually anything.

They are very pricey in super condition, but if condition isn't critical they can be obtained for a reasonable cost.  Unfortunately shipping costs will be considerable as it

has to be shipped fully assembled.  I'm attaching  photos of the shed on my Hornby, Lionel, MTH layout.

I think two of the Lionel maintenance sheds are the way to go. I have two. Also 3 Lionel engine sheds, the Atlas Diesel 2 stall, roundhouse and the MTH single stall. Better details. Weathers nice. Bricks more scale. Gutters, slate roof and small shop/0ffice. With two you could get a larger machine shop. It also has extra parts because it was easier to have a few extra parts than make another mold. Unfortunately I haven't figured out how to post photos from phone. FMH
No need to because you just continue adding brick wall panels. Only the end columns are different. They are mitered to return with an identical piece for the end walls. You may need to cutaway set of the roof sections if you want to add an odd number of wall panels. Easily done with a small table saw, find tooth band saw, scroll saw, or score with a knife and snap. ( not recommended on your first go around). I found the Atlas kit a bit flimsy. I actually have either the older Heljan or IHC version with four smokestacks. They only kit that half way through I gave up on using Weld-on one the panels were glued and switched to hot glue and put fillets in corner joints. You could also use balsa stiffeners. The older 1990's Lionel stuff was more robust opaque plastic that you can illuminate without blackening the inside to avoid the Jack o lantern effect. After measuring you might need three of the maintenance sheds because the are only 15" long. Lionel single is 21". Mth single is 24". Built up only but taller than Lionel with detailed interior. atlas Dual is 27". FMH FMH.

Give me his number.. Id aways thought the Bigboy was the largest steam engine until I looked at the S1 140 feet bigboy 132 feet...To bad PRR didnt articulated the S1 and took the weight off the trucks so it would get more traction.. couldve been a very successful steam engine..

Thanks for the tip I didn't know about this guy. His website doesn't have pictures of his sheds yet. Once he does I'm sure he may get more business. A lot of times Google image searches get better results for train stuff. He does not come up with a two stall engine shed text search. Can you post a photo of yours. Thanks FMH
