Wibbly, Wobbly GP-7...

I have been running my post-war Chesapeake and Ohio GP-7 recently (this is not the rare Sears version) and the shell/frame rocks back and forth very noticeably, but not all the time. I have seen this on another of my GP's and wonder if re-forming the ground spring would help.

Has anyone else had this happen and successfully cured it?
