Hello all

I am just starting to set up my TMCC equipment and I want to make sure I wire it right.I will be using CAB 1L AND 1L BASE,TPC 300 CONTROLLER AND A LIONEL POSTWAR ZW. I have the correct adapter cable with the green and red wires. Please someone, send me a sketch as how to wire these components As I am very confused with the instructions that they come with. If it makes a difference I am using postwar tubular track. Please help!

Thanks for your fantastic help, Jerry

Hi Jerry. Two wires from your ZW's A and U posts to the TPC's Power IN, the wire from the A post to Hot, U post to NEUT. I would suggest a 10 amp fuse or circuit breaker between the ZW and TPC.

From the Track Out on the TPC run the wire from A post to the center rail of your track. Run another wire from the U post to the outside rail of your track.

The serial connector goes onto the Base1L and the  red wire on the other end goes to the DAT on the TPC and the green to the COM.

Connect a wire from the Base1L to the U post on the ZW and your done with the wiring.

You can program the TPC as a ENG or TR. Check the directions for that.
