Since last year some MTH Premier 0 Gauge locomotives are delivered with a Wooden Stationary Display Base. As far as I know this is done with European type locomotives, but I do not know if this is also done with American locomotives. The locomotive is screwed on the base with his wheels free and by connecting two wires the locomotive can be shown moving his wheels. I had some damage problems with locomotives delivered on such a display base, which were solved by MTH and my dealer. Anyway, in my experience this is not a robust way of packaging. Did any of you had similar problems or did I just have bad luck?
