We can always tell when York and spring are on the horizon when Weekend Photo Fun by Scott Smith gets very busy. I love viewing some of the great pictures the members put up every Friday. Great job Scott in keeping this weekly event alive.

Spring Marty?
Marty is right !
it is Spring.
This morning I sprung up on a ladder and used an acetylene torch in an ice dam.

Charlie, it is March. I still have many feet of snow in my yard. Reaching out for spring is sort of like the Jets hoping they will win a game. The only difference is that spring will come.
Yep, looking forward to Spring York and hopefully winter is long gone by then.

The'll be planting down in Amish country in April! Well, at least turning over the fileds.
I've had enough of this winter too. We've been plowing at least twice a week; thank God we don't have as much snow as Mass got. Looking forward to next week's warmer temps, low to mid 40's, and a chance at 50 by mid week. I'm really looking forward to York. I really enjoy the photo threads too, Sunday Scenic Showcase WPF and the new Switcher Saturday, which I forgot about last week.

Spring and York sounds good, by April I may be able to see some green and no more white snow, I hope.
Remember......Daylight Savings Time tomorrow night!

It will take more than snow to keep me from York.
Don't forget we change the clocks tonight.

Does that mean we lose an hour of cold weather? Good riddence!

When driving the Vette this winter have you chained up or are you running studded Goodyear Eagles?
BTW, your driveway has more snow right now than Stevens Pass with only 33 inches on the ground 1000 feet above the Cascade Tunnel. In a normal year there would be 8 to 10 feet.
Ah, yes. York spring. When these critters reappear from long winter to gather train cars and tell stories.....
Ted, the Vette has not had much road time in recent years having been sick. I am feeling better now and it might get to see York.
I got a little sunburn chasing 89 today at Strasburg. I know it was partially because of the snow, but between that, the warm sun, and the snow melting fast, it's feeling like spring in Lancaster!
41 day's till York. The snow here is half way up my windows. Marty, Were coming to see you this week. Don't faint. and by the way I am taking the lake Shore Limited from Boston to Chicago & then the California Zephyr to San Francisco, driving from there to LA and then taking the Southwest Chief back to Chicago & then the Lake shore to Boston. first class all the way. Lisa is going with me. Were leaving on June 13th. can't wait.
I hope you have a wonderful trip Ed! I bet your little Boston will miss you terribly.
Sometimes, just sometimes (at least twice year), it seems like life revolves around YORK. What's the attraction, perhaps it's MAGNETRACTION.

What's the old saying about "once you have seen Paris, etc. Give it a try Bob, you won't be sorry.
