Copy the URL of the YouTube video page from your browser, then paste it into the blank labeled "File/URL" that appears when you click the filmstrip icon next to the smiley in the bar above the message entry box. Then click "Insert" and a yellow box should appear in your post containing the video.
You may have to re-fresh the page in your browser to see the actual video embedded in your post.

Thank you RailRide

Clem that advice you got above should work.
Still can't get it to work. How do I move the url from the youtube to the forum?
When looking at the video on youtube, highlight the entire address at the top of the page... it should look something like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyF3JIoLhtU
Then right click with your mouse, and a list in a white window will pop up.
Click on "Copy".
Then go to OGR, and click on the filmstrip icon at the top of the "Post Reply" window. It is the 3rd from the right. It will say "Insert/Edit Embedded Media" if you place your cursor on it.
When the Insert/Edit Embedded Media window pops up, right click on the box beside File/URL. A list in a white window will pop up. Click on "Paste". Then click "Insert" at the bottom of the Insert/Edit Embedded Media window.
Viola!
One more thing... make sure the video's permission is set to "Public" or "Unlisted".
It won't work if it is marked "Private".
Not working. I don't have a mouse, this is a macbook I can highlight the url, when i go to share, but i don't see "copy"
FYI...you tube has some really great railroad stuff. If you buy Chromecast, (($35.00) you can watch all the great stuff on you television instead of your computer screen. There are some many great railroad videos in HD. I have been watching the same ones over again now that I'm watching on a large flat screen TV...awesome.
For $35.00 you can't go wrong. O Gauge layouts really pop on the TV and you get better scenery ideas from large view.
Clem, I'm sorry about that... I'm a desktop PC guy. If there aren't two buttons under the trackpad on the Mac, try holding down the CTRL button and press "C" to copy, then when you need to paste, hold down CTRL and press "P". That is the best I can do... and I don't know if those will work on your macbook. Hopefully some mac guys can chime in and point you in the right direction.
I googled it and found this tutorial, Clem: How to copy and past on a Mac
It looks like you use "Command C" for copy and "Command V" for paste.
