Those are very nice scenes, Johnny! They hit me as very complete, full.
Johnny, I really like that 1st one. Nice photo work to show off a nice scene.

Thanks TrainsRMe and walt for the complements and to those who liked my posts.
Here are a couple more pictures of the city area.

You know how to make scenes realistic, but not overwhelmed by details. Very, very nice.

The Christmas season is now here and the Lionel Factory is churning out those sets that Santa will soon be delivering....

More milk trucks here, too. Love those Divco trucks - and the delivery man could drive them standing up. How cool is that?

Thank you. This thread has many pics from layouts that are so much better then mine. Night shots are my favorite. Everybody's layout has vignettes, and all tell a story wither we realize or not our selves.

Here are couple showing a new backdrop we installed...really made a BIG difference! Looks like a ideal Appalachian community in the distance....

Here is a downtown scene. We need to sink the buildings into the foam core we are using for the streets and then paint the streets...

Here are a couple more....right now we have a traffic jam since we had to move vehicles around in order to work in certain areas of the layout...but the scenes when completed will be nice. Notice the trolley wire. Mickey will have live trolley wire so that his street cars will run from the wire!!

This is a scene we are working on that fits inside of the window in Mickey's layout room...This is elevated above the mainline and a tunnel goes under the scene...

Mickey will have plenty of industrial scenes. I made a retaining wall out of 1/2" pink insulating sheet and painted it a concrete color. It needs to be weathered but we will get to it eventually.... The power/refining plant backdrop was raised and tucked just behind the top of the retaining wall so that it looks like it is off in the distance....

Another angle looking toward the big scrap warehouse/storage building. We will continue the backdrop to the corner behind the warehouse to give it some depth...

A nice scene of the gas station and surrounding area....pay no attention to that big straight crack in the pavement....the street crew will be dispatched to repair it soon!

A large row of industries and warehouses are on the other side of the divider that is shared with the city....
