Beginning of my circus train at AGHR, pulled, naturally, by a pre-War K-4s
Plastic guards installed to keep grubby fingers, when layout is frequently open to the public, off'n the trains & accessories. PITA if something derails.
Hey Guys and Gals....have we lost interest in this thread?? Hope not??? Lets keep it going..
Alan
I hope the last two days hasn't disappointed you.
You folks were busy today. I had 99 emails when I got home from work. 90 of the from vignette posts. Some awesome stuff out there.

A picture that I don't usually take that shows the location of the refinery scene with respect to the steam facilities. That big off-white structure on the far left center, just behind the Sinclair sign, is the next Skyscraper project....

Two sections of the Amtrak Superliner afternoon train have arrived at the downtown underground station...

Jon - Thanks for posting all the great pictures of the elevators. This picture is awesome for me with the Empire Builder running over the stone arch bridge and the Pillsbury elevator complex in the background.
Art
Alan; great photos as usual. You have some fantastic looking buildings.
This one "nails it" for photographic art. Although all of the photos posted in this thread are great in their own right there are only a few where I really have to struggle to convince myself that those aren't real trains in front of a real building on a real day. The ONLY thing that gives away that it's a model -- even a little bit -- are the rail ties under the diesel. Awesome!
Thanks guys for the compliments...and Doug...I do understand...heck, in my mind just about any railroad is a "standard" of the world...
Alan
Hey Guys and Gals....I just wanted to remind you, just in case some of you didn't know...that most of the pictures posted here (all of mine) as well as anywhere on the forum are easily enlarged for better viewing. On my pictures if you will right click the picture and then click on "open link in new window", the picture will enlarge to a full page view. You can then enlarge it even further if you want...but believe me you certainly will get a whole new perspective of the scene if you do this...much more enjoyable!!
Alan
Alan, I did not know that trick. Thank you. I see that it works for my photos as well.
Suzukovich, I love your display. I really like a Winter shot.
