Almost a one-man show today. Thanks for all the great pics chugman! I especially like the country scene (farmland and fenceposts) and the center post irrigation system. Well done sir!

Yes, Art. It resides a bit upstream from the Stone Arch bridge, prototype for your bridge. The sign started life atop of the Marigold Ballroom in 1941, it depicts a 1938 design.
The above photo is from 1950 when the Marigold underwent it's final major remodel. The 50' wide, 40' tall sign was moved to the river, it's current location, and replaced with this...
It's current home on Nicolet Island facing west down Hennepin Ave. This view is looking East from the West bank, circa 1960s...
Again, looking East, form further West down Hennepin Ave, Great Northern Depot on the left...
The sign has been dark since the '96. Efforts are underway to secure funding for the 7-figure restoration.
