Take a look at your first teaser for next Tuesday (2/28)! I will admit this is a pretty easy one!

Gee a bulkhead flat with wood logs
A new building. Either a sawmill or a paper factory.
Burned hot dogs with the ends cut off! Lol!
(Singing) I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK...
Toothpick factory! Have to admit not a particularly "knotty "problem to figure out! LOL
I recall in my youth waiting at a railroad crossing and seeing the scores of bulkhead flatcars filled with pine trees ('50's and '60's). I suppose the loaded bulkhead flatcar is my favorite freight car, of course, not counting the caboose that I anxiously waited to appear.
Log flat car or a pile of logs by a building...........Paul
Pulpwood car.
It's a new building !!! LOL.
A Brewery! With wood fire cookers!
Here I was looking for a teaser when all along one was posted days ago and to top it off I replied to it and don't remember doing that. CABINET BOB and Mark have done a number on me. Don't know if I am coming or going anymore. Think I better go work on the layout to clear my mind before I forget where it is...........Paul
I hope this one won't be a " I GOTTA HAVE ONE". I already have the Crow car on my order list.
Christmas money is running out fast.

Now Mark, you should know better by now, that a "pretty easy" teaser can run wildly astray here. Some possible examples:
-Hey Mark, I was studying the illustration under a magnifying glass and some of the cut lines on the sides of the logs don't appear to be scale. Can you provide us with some advance dimensions of the individual logs in the load?
-Mark, is that a die cast log load? A die cast log load would be huge. Really huge. You'll probably sell a gazillion of them!!
-Wow, thanks Mark! A wood burning steam engine. Will it come equipped with Lionel Legacy or MTH DCS and PS3? Hopefully it will be scale with a fan driven smoke unit. Will you be including a free bonus train car with it?
-Hmmmm? Logs. Lots of logs. Wood. Wooden ties. Lots of wooden ties. I got it! Menards is bringing back Super O track! Mark, you were right... that was a pretty easy clue!
-Mark, I live in an extremely rural, sparely populated area. Whenever I've seen trees cut down, it means someone is building something. So when I saw your new clue, it can only mean one thing... Menards is building a new store near me.
-Looks to me like those logs are not like a molded one-piece load, but all individual logs... which can only mean one thing. Menards is going to make an operating lumber mill. Will it be Plug-N-Play equipped like the new Lionel operating Lionel accessories?
-Mark, I'm sure this will be a bulk head flat car. My big question is, will the log load be road specific for different areas of the country. The SOO Line wouldn't have carried Eastern Spruce and the Santa Fe only carried Western Pine. I can send you some photos if you want.
I wish you would think about changing your P.O. Box Policy. UPS and FedEx will now deliver to US Post boxes. I don't like my packages left on the porch where my wife can find them.

How can one PM another person on this forum?
I need to send Mark a message about one of the six Alaska cars I bought from Menards. Have not got a reply from their website I sent my question to???
Tks,
Kevin.
Scott, I feel your pain! Do what I do, I told my dear wife that Menards is an on line counseling service and the manuals they send me are making me a better person! God and she knows there's room for improvement! LOL

Kevin, don't worry! Now that you have posted it here Mark will get in contact with you. He seams to read everything that has to do with Menards on here. They are a great store and have wonderful customer service!
Mark will take care of you!
A bulkhead flatcar would be awesome - that's my guess! I don't have anything like that yet, so I'll probably pick up a few if that's the case...

Never mind, I got a reply today from Ray at Menards and he said they will swap out the Alaska car in question.
Thanks guys.
DM&E BOBBY, sure would be nice. Easy enough to add bulk heads to the ends. I would like to see along with the tall bulk heads some short ones made. I have watched flat cars with very short bulk heads carrying steel plates....Paul
Today's the day.. what WOOD you think its going to be????? has it been guessed , or not....
Has to have been guessed BOB, a 14 3/4 inch flat car with a load of wood. But I have always been off the mark. Derailing myself what if it was a log load on a flat bed trailer.......Hopefully today another clue.........Paul
Well, I'm leaning towards the pulpwood car myself. Boy did I see a lot of them in the '90s when we lived in Keyser, WV, and the Westvaco paper mill in Luke, MD was just upstream. Since the theme of my new layout will be in West Virginia, log cars are welcome as are coal hoppers. I have several operating log cars, but no pulpwood cars. I just hope it will fit in a steam-diesel transition era layout. The Menards hoppers are nice, but I only buy 2-bay hoppers. I'm not complaining, there is something out there for everyone.

A very exciting new release. Hopefully it will be the first of many along this line.
Great!!
Mark, how about a larger release..? Like using your longest flat with a load like this?
I'm going to LOG out and order !! Nice job Mark !
Very nice looking car and the road name has really got me thinking on this one. I love anything Canadian. Mark and the crew did a great job.............Paul
Four pack on the way. CB will still get his first i am sure.
Looks good! Very close to what I imagined!! Looks a little modern for transition era, but that is jus personal preference. CN...I live one mile from CN owned tracks...Bessemer and Lake Erie! Could work for my local interest train, although they don't haul pulpwood here. Excellent job Mark and Menards!!
Nice looking cars, I have the saw mill, I just might have to get some of these down the road!
Love the cars, will be owning a few, would have preferred NS box trucks but hey, free is free! Sending them to Bob's Speedy truck painting! LOL A great deal, for every truck he paints, you get free trees!
