Tim, I made my purchase after midnight last night. When I tried to add the truck it went to a wish list. After numerous times I gave up, bit the bullet and moved on. Main thing is I got the wood car. And Bob I will play nice. Mike can go first. I will take a position in the rear waiting. Besides I have no roads for the trucks yet. LOL..............Paul

Paul, I should stand aside as I have no layout as of yet. Still waiting for the snow to stop so I can get the slab poured and the walls up! You go ahead Paul. I am in no hurry.

WOW this is a hard group to please, first Paul cried cause I asked about a truck from Play Trains. Now Bob offers one up and I am a Kiss Up! The good thing is that everyone here has a heart and enjoys a good laugh!

Well.. That blew me out of the water... and I just sold all my fastrack due to the fact I didn't care for it .. oh well..back to work.. pout.
Great that it's sold in a 2-pack. Probably what most people need.

Whats nice about the Menards adapter track its easy to trim for a fitter piece of track.
Menards sure has made it fun to guess whats coming.

TUBULAR ALL THE WAY!!! How about some switches Menards since Lionel probably wont be making them anymore??? Probably could buy the molds from them, or come up with a nice tubular switch to match Gargraves 11 degree switch :-)
Switches and rubber roadbed are two items Menard's should be giving "High Priority" to.

Look at it this way: a lot of non-hobbyists receive/buy a starter set with - fastrack. Menards *sells* fastrack, but I'm sure they have better margins on their house-brand 031-profile track. Newbies don't want to get rid of those few pieces of fastrack, and it seems too expensive to buy enough other fastrack pieces, so, Hello, Menards! Let's buy some of your track!
And, what does every kid, regardless of age, want the most? Switches!!
Menards is doing such a great job of growing the hobby, they've GOT to be working on switches in order to increase the operating enjoyment for everyone. These adapter tracks not only allow connection to fastrack, but will also support adding the new Menard's SwitchJacks (had to take care of Jack in there....).
Mark my words, folks, we'll see 'em before Christmas 2017!

I was never that good at math, but this seems to be about half price for a longer section of track????
Kudos to the Menards team for thinking out of the box on this one.

True! That is one thing I didn't think about and an advantage it has over its Fasttrack counterpart!
