There was a huge fire in our area in 2008. Here is photo of a BNSF freight running through. This is walking distance from my house. I drive over that bridge almost every day. We were packed and ready to go, but never had to evacuate.

my sister in law lives in Orange. There have been a few times they almost had to leave and once they did. Some scarey stuff Steve.
California should be Califirenia, lol. The whole state is one big tinder box. I hope no historical railroad buildings, trains, or museums burn down though.

We've had a lot of rain this year so the hills are all green. In a few months that will be dried fuel for the next fire.

I think that was the year the fire went all the way down the 15.
