Mike Noble"Michael A. Noble, 68, of Mattydale, passed away on December 20, 2024.
Mike was born in Syracuse, New York on September 16, 1956 to the late Rex and Mary Noble.
Mike was the owner and operator of Northstar Taxi where he proudly held the longest continuous taxi cab license of 40 years in Syracuse. He was a member of the CNY chapter of the National Railway Historical Society with a particular interest in the Ontario and Western Rail Road. He enjoyed restoring cars, specifically his 1978 Pontiac Trans Am.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sheri Noble; sister, Marlene (Mark) Noble-Plumley; cousin-auntie Ann Morey; brothers in law, Jeff (Stephanie) Burch, Michael Burch; nephew, Paul Burch; as well as many cousins and friends."

I met Mike Noble at the O&W RHS Convention and Banquet in 2022. I owe him much gratitude for introducing me to JR Junction Hobby in Syracuse, NY, where we met again 11/2 and 11/3/2024 at the 49th Great NYS Model Train Fair - Mike Noble was the O&W RHS Sponsor there, "representing" the O&W in word and deed, as they say. And there we were again at the O&W RHS Convention and Banquet 2024 on 11/9/2024 with all the other Ladies and Gentlemen who remember this Great "unforgotten" Railway fondly... and I am so glad his O&W Xmas Trains make their appearance again this year! We love 'em!
