I get a 403 Message whenever i click on a link that is embeded in a forum. For example: http://pictures.olsenstoy.com/...info%5Cloc-e-p1.pdf, pictures.olsentoy.com/whatever

The 403 Forbidden Error happens when the web page that you’re trying to open in your web browser is a resource that you’re not allowed to access. The most common reason for a 403 error is a mis-typed URL. As an example, the link in your post doesn't go anywhere. And that's because there is an error in it.

That red backslash should either not be there, or should be a forward slash - "/". Backslashes are never used in URLs. But when I try use that link, even with a forward slash, I don't get a 403 error. I get - NOTHING. The page never loads. Even if I just go to their main domain - olsentoy.com - nothing happens and the connection times out. These folks have had a lot of problems with their web server, and I think their site is down.
If there are other links that are returning a 403 error, I will need the specific links that are doing this for you.
thanks for getting back to me. after sending you the request, i realized olsentoy is gone. I think the other links might of been videos from the this forum and I am not a paying member so I understand.
Thanks again
