Hoping to catch 611 around Charlottesville today on its way to Manassas. Anybody have any intel on when the move will happen? I know they're generally unpredictable, but I sure would appreciate even a general timeline. Thanks!

Thanks, they seem to be posting periodic updates there. The next question is when do they leave Lynchburg (it got tied up there last year quite a while). If any of you are out chasing today, Red Hill is a great place to catch it northbound.

Here's a shot I took today of 611 crossing under an original Southern signal bridge at Red Hill:
There were several videographers there, as well, so you're likely to see footage in the coming weeks.

Conductor on Amtrak 171 expects to meet 611 at Remington. (I'm on 171 now). 171 is on time at the moment, scheduled time int MSS is 549. I can't see 611 making it to Manassas until after 7. As I write this, I got a text that 611 is presently in culpeper.
