I just broke out my 97 coal elevator acquired many years ago, now trying to get it running - cleaned and lubed, but it still is binding really bad. The worm gear on the long drive shaft keeps pushing the chain shaft away from the worm such that only the very end of the worm is engaged. It looks like a piece(s) may be missing that holds the chain shaft in place because the shaft appears to be free floating, but without an illustrated parts diagram, I really can't tell what would/should be there. Even a nice close-up pic would be helpful so I could see if I'm missing parts - available?
