Mike'... waiting to see some of your figures'... Jump right in. I know you can do it'... I have a little fire engine that tells me so'.....🤩

Moring Ted, It's going to be slow as I have house painting to do. But I plan on trying to get out to the train room before the sun comes up. I have to make some pedastools for my people to sit on while I paint them.

For today: " The Water Stop ... conductor Curley Joe Smoot catches some fresh air as fireman Wiley Suggs gets ready to fill the tender's tank.  MOW workers labor hard this fine morning.  After the tank is filled the two car passenger train will back down the track to Patburg's Commuter Station where it will begin it's daily run to Chesapeake City, the eastern terminus of the FSJR. fullsizeoutput_145

Mike, a little tacky wax on top of a cork works great'.  Just stand or seat the figure on the wax.  You only need a small dab... I tries every other possible method over the years.  The corks are the best and the  easiest...........SAM_0787MODELU before 3

You can use the top or the bottom of the cork'.. either way, both will work for you'.. I got a bag with 100 of them on Amazon for a couple of bucks...😃

Morning guys, great photos by all!

Ted I have some old wood dowels I am going to cut into stands, but thank you for the idea!

Patrick, Your crews are always hard at work! Very cool secens!

Larry, What can I say I still think you have an Amazing layout!

I hope everyone is doing well and having fun!

Good evening everyone, I'm new to O Scale and looking on here I see amazing layout pictures. Here is a picture of the city scene on my layout. IMG_1284

Love the scratch built publix and the elevated line! Welcome to O scale and the forum FEC.  Did you set up the layout in a spare bedroom or the garage? It’s tough for us O gaugers down here in Florida with no basements, but we all seem to make do.

Hey Strap Hanger, yea I set it up in my dog, ammo reloading, and now train room. I wish I had the space to built a layout like some of the guys on here. I had todo it in L-shape and largest curve is 0-36, the elevated line is 0-27, but believe it or not I run 4 trains at once. I will post more pics later on.

PS.. I wish I would have found this site before I got addicted to these trains and started the layout the tips and ideas are awesome.

I took over a spare bedroom, went with an L shape, and then went vertical with an elevated line, a mainline, a subway and a floor layout. Everything is 0-36 except for the subway lines, which I was able to squeeze in some O-54. These are the things we must do in the land of no basements, LOL! If you search my name, you can see what I’ve been able to do with our limitations.  Nice detailing on yours. I particularly like the sidewalk weathering and under track paper girders on the elevated line. Really nice building modeling as well.  Now, you need to start working on that under layout subway line. Then comes the expansion board with the yard.  It never ends, but oh how much fun it is!

Welcome to Ogauge, FEC. if you’re down south, I’m sure you already know about Ready to Roll.  Bill Lucas is the pusher man to all of us ogauge addicts down here.

Thanks Mark, the back wall is 11x4, the city side is 9x4..I also cut a hole in the closet wall and made a tunnel..my better half almost killed me for that.  Hey nice job on that ladies night out scene, it must be close to my city, because its the same mailman, lol.

Strap Hanger, yea I'm in Pembroke Pines and my buddy and I have been in contact with Bill and waiting patiently until he opens back up. I have been getting the cars and used rolling stock down at Hollywood Station in Perrine. He has a large collection of 1/48 & 1/50 cars and trucks, and at super low prices.

Unfortunately I can't go any lower, I'm a K9 unit and I keep "Glock" my Shepherd  in there, poor guy has bumped his head on the bottom of layout several times. lol
