I believe the 8479 was owned by the Anthracite Railroads Historical Society as a parts source for its other locomotives. The unit reportedly has been stripped of whatever components were deemed usable and is more or less been abandoned at this point in time.

Makes you wonder, I think it's a good bet that there are many engines tucked here and there rusting away.
