Add Sound to 18206

I bought a nice Santa Fe 18206 (Dash 8-40B) at auction, and the picture of its innards is at the bottom. It has no speaker or sound. You can see the snap on blue cradle with holes for a speaker (I guess). This fits underneath the frame and is currently empty. There is only 1 very small circuit board which I think only controls the flashing light on the roof.

Is this model a good candidate for a Sound Commander 2? Is there another product that would be easier to install? I'm not all that interested in jaw-dropping horn blasts, just something to put a smile on my face.
