Yet our track is in better shape now days with welded rail and all. Except the second partial main track (its track and 1/2 CTC) on the ACL is still jointed rail. I guess CSX and its predecessors were way behind Southern in adopting welded rail across the board. The track and 1/2 on the Southern main is perfectly maintained track no matter which track you are looking at.
