A lot of the time questions come up on here about resources, specifically where to get things. For example, a common one is wiring and electrical components. Another one is repair/restoration services, local hobby shops. those kind of things.  These come up and are scattered across the forums, and while they can be searched for, would be great to have something like that in one place.

So the main forum topic would be Resources and then maybe have pre made topics, like wiring and electrical supplies, repair/restoration, etc (I don't know if we could make it so the topics are fixed ie members can't add to it). I realize there is a downside to this, people will likely still put questions about resources in other topic areas. If we allow people to create topics in the resource area it likely will end up with a ton of topics and could become disordered.

I don't know how feasible this is, just wanted to throw it out there.

I believe what you're looking for already exists on the Forum as the "Scenery Sourcelist" -

The Scenery Sourcelist | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum (ogaugerr.com)

It encompasses much more than just pure scenery and includes resources for structures, kits, vehicles, detail parts, figures, electronics, etc. About the only thing it doesn't list are retail train stores but, of course, many of those are Forum sponsors and already listed in the banner ads at the top of each page.

Richie, thank you for posting this Link to a great resource trove.  I'd never seen this until now.
