Maybe this has been written about before and I know someone bought their molds but did anyone buy their parts? How will repairs be taken care of? Thanks Don

They had all the parts for sale at the final sale. There was talk of an auction to clear out the building in September, but I never heard anything else about it.

Joe told me when I was there on the final day that Lionel was taking tooling machinery and warehouse stock, which included parts. I asked Joe if he had any kits for converting a 2 bay hopper to a wood chip car, and he took me to the warehouse area and located what I needed. I asked if all this inventory was going to Lionel, and he said yes. Whether or not this included repair parts, I don't know. As Car Guy mentioned, Joe planned to have an auction at some point, but I didn't hear of anything either. I'll see him at York, and I'll be sure to ask.

I know that Bob Lavezzi received the die cast truck and couplers for 3rail. Beth of public delivery track purchased the remaining prebuilt stock.
I need NE caboose parts like smoke stacks , end railings, and steps. Where can I get the parts that I need. Do I have to make my own?

Pretty sure that Dave Vaughn bought a truck load of parts that he was planning sell.....
