Are blind tinplate drive wheels available? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have this crazy idea in my head about a custom tinplate-esque project. I would like to use spoked tinplate drive wheels but actually use a 6 wheel motor assembly. Are blind drivers available in the tinplate style or would I have to doctor up a set of flanged drivers?

Edit - just to clarify this project would be O gauge.

My guess is you will have to customize a flanged set.

They are not made. You will have to hit the grinder and remove the flange from a pair of wheels.

If you are buying new drivers that Hennings makes, he will remove the flanges for you for a few bucks more.
