Have one here to swap out. Reading the instructions says you must trim off a boss which makes it irreversible. Is there another way to swap to the fixed pilot and install a shorter knuckle or a non operable scale coupler? It will never be used.

I did it as per the Atlas instructions. Why would you ever want to reverse it?
You could always buy an extra lead truck assembly to reverse the installation.
That would set you back some serious $$$.
He doesn't want to make it irreversible. With no other replies I guess we will fabricate closed doors.
