Two questions on subject since I can get some 2-rail Atlas cars cheap.
1. Do Atlas 3-rail trucks use the same mount as 2-rail? I realize some details may need to be removed to get the coupler swing needed.
2. Are there 2-rail forum members who have cars with 3-rail trucks that would swap the trucks? Or swap cars if they are steam era.
The mounts are the same Ron. It is one of the easier conversions to make.
I'd have to look and see which cars I want to convert to two rail. Send me mail and I can take a look. I converted some of my steam era to 3RS so I have the 3 rail trucks, but the 3 rail couplers are long gone.
