Just got the e-mail that Atlas is making the Osgood Bradley coaches! LIRR is on the list!

Former Weaver tooling. I purchased quite few of the Weaver cars in Southern Pacific two-tone gray styling, for commute service, and they are VERY nice cars. I up-graded them to body mounted Kadee couplers and installed people.
Gotta say for "Trainman" series these are mighty fine looking cars.
Yes they are abeit, too bad the mighty PRR did not have any. The closest car the PRR had to mimic the Osgood Bradley were the p70 far. I did buy a couple to do a conversion then along came GGD and their sets. Sold off the Osgood Bradley cars after that.
Definitely the Weaver molds. I was going to get the LIRR version from the custom run from Public Delivery Track, but opted to skip the orange stripe version that was offered. The all gray might prove to be too tempting.
Very nice model. I have a couple in New Haven McGinnis colors. One caveat - they are big, the prototype is 84 1/2 feet; the Weavers are 21" over the diaphragms.
I have forgotten tbe roads that used these...most in the northeast, but l see SP mentioned?
Looking forward to a few New Haven's. I wonder who got Weaver's tooling for the I-5 Hudson?

Weren't those brass models? If brass, as in "hand made brass model", then there was no "tooling". If die cast, then there would have been "tooling", i.e. dies.
