I'm looking into using a few of these connectors for track power control (on sidings). Have any of you guys used them? I've used the connector with the black case and 3 yellow switches once and it worked alright, I'm just thinking the HD one will be better for this application. I might look at using the twin for a passing siding I have too. Any thoughts? I'll also wire these in conjunction with an AIU so I can use one or the other for power control. These pictures aren't the greatest but it shows you what I'm looking at doing. I have 8 stub end sidings and 2 passing sidings I want to control.

I have used them for engine service sidings. If you are using MTH DCS and have locos parked on the siding you have to turn on the siding you want to use prior to powering the TIU so the engine sees the watch dog signal.
If not, when you power up the siding with the switch the engine will start.
For a lot less money, you can just get a whole bunch of regular Toggle switches that aren’t for model railroads. I don’t see what that does special for $10+ per switch. A light switch from Home Depot would do the same thing and a ten pack of em is about $6
Henning's Trains has them: https://hennings-trains.shopli...onnector-switch.html
Matt, the HD is what you should be using if that’s what you like. Atlas came out with them due to the higher voltage and currents with O-Gauge trains. I like the looks.

I think I've changed my mind, I think I'm going to just use the AIU relays only.
Pictured component is (3) switches.
