I received word today that these are "in the house" at Atlas O and would be shipping in a week to 10 days.
I, for one, will be glad to receive my cars...TTX and UP versions.
They are not the Lionel newly tooled autoracks...but, I think they will represent a quality product at a, still, decent price.

Waiting for images of the finished flat car.
Have four in TTX on order. Still trying to figure out what kind of load to put on them. Was thinking maybe a batch of ties and rail like they had on some flats out in Irwindale where they're working on expanding the "Gold Line" light rail along the old ATSF Pasadena Sub.
It's been so long from when they were first announced that I can't remember how many I had ordered from Bob Thatcher @ AM Hobbies, Now owned by JD Trains. Either three or four in TTX and CP or CN for a new industry to be made on my layout (chain link fencing). I wanted a new type bulkhead flatcar so bad that a few years ago I modified a Lionel PS4 flat. Of course right after I did, Atlas announced theirs.
I am definitely looking forward to these cars. I had several TTX cars on order.
