        John, I think the car with conductor's window is just a variation of the dome chair car where luggage racks at one end were replaced with a small office w/window.  It doesn't have the lounge area that the buffet dome lounge car has.  Just all regular seating.

I picked up this vintage ad at an "antique store". From a 1957 National Geographic. 

 

Truly one of the great classics. I got to ride a remnant of it in 1980 when the DRGW still ran the Rio Grande Zephyr between Salt Lake City and Denver, because they had elected not to join Amtrak.

Looks like I need the CB&Q Silver Rifle and one of the first 10-6 sleepers and one of the first dome cars in CB&Q. I have a 3001198-1 WP Silver Crane 6-5 sleeper New NRFB for sale or trade if anyone is interested. I am looking for the above and also an unmarked baggage or dome.
