Thanks Mike. I'm working on getting a better picture of the tanker like Lee asked.

Yes, that was my thinking! Thank you, Lee! That’s as old as me, but the truck sure cleans up better than me! 😄😉

Hi All,
it’s been a while since my last post but I do enjoy seeing people’s work—-inspiring!
The Hartford CT Police Department was called negotiate a hostage stand off, deploying a cruiser and a few good men, here they are. Life in the city moved on as evidenced by the Connecticut Co. bus moving through in the background.
The HPD car is stock, painted and decaled for the HPD.
The Connecticut Co bus started life as a 1/48 plastic model, disassembled and repainted and detailed with an interior. Note the bus driver…

Very nice work on the bus Don!
The Cities Service tanker is a "Die Cast Collectibles" edition Corgi in a red window box with gold trim. The label on the side has item # 56202 and says it is a Diamond T 620 Rigid Tanker- Cities Service. What bI really like is the Diamond T on the door. A prototypical detail that Corgi didn't miss.
Don, the bus really looks great!
Joe, I missed seeing Diamond T on the door until you pointed it out.
Lee, you are right! I am like the old vehicle that still polished up pretty good, but the undercarriage is rusting out! 😄😄

Hi Don, outstanding scenes'.. What model company made those bus models? They are very convincing. ✔

Thanks for the compliment! The bus is from Sunnyside, and listed as 1/50. You can see from the photo, it’s close to a Corgi (which I also intend to paint in the Connecticut Company scheme). They come up on eBay and sometimes at train shows.
