Speaking of inspiring, John, this Power Wagon has it all.  Your mastery of simulated rust shown in that side view is inspiring and you absolutely "nailed" the junk load.  Wow.

I seem to recall that someone posted on this thread a while back that they were looking for an older model Power Wagon.  I have a more recent model by KiNSMART, probaby 1:43.  Who produced your version?

Excellent work!  And, I enjoyed the humorous nod to R&B, too.  Thanks for posting.

Perfectly faded and weathered!  Not overdone... As mentioned, your background adds another touch of authenticity.  Excellent modeling and beautiful work!..  And where did you acquire this truck'?  I've always liked the power wagon'...

Since I don't have any scenery on my "layout" yet, this will have to do.  I'm a General Motors guy, so about 85% of what I have is exactly that.

Below is a '38 panel truck bank.  Not sure why I picked the brown, but I'm most likely going to change that at some point.  Also filled in the coin slot.

A '57 Chevy that is still in progress.  Started out this light blue/teal/green.  Trying to get it to look like the real one below.  Currently stuck at interior color.

A '53 3100.  The black one was green and was identical to the one it is shown next to.  Lowered, wheel change, and removed spare wheel mount and hitch.

A White WC22 Dump that was previously Conrail and weathered.  I'm sure most think it looks better weathered, but my plan is to use this along with some First Gear items (all color white) to create a layout construction company.  Also, I made the error of not first removing the plastic "wood" on top of the dump before stripping the paint.  This melted some of the wood grain away.

Greetings Everyone,

Here's a New Ray 1/43 scale bucket truck that I added some LED lighting to.  As you can see, it's already on the job with the boss who's in the Tahoe.

Terrific scene!  I feel l'm right there in on the action with all those lights flashing.  And I like the NS choice.

When can we expect the bucket hydrolics to be fully functioning?  . But seriously, great job!

All posters and readers on here probably saw the just ended Wiseman auctions of circa 1920? model Kleiber trucks.  I didn't bite because these were built in San Francisco (l think), and while found in logging in Far West, probably did not often get east of Sierras.  Wiseman offered a lot of separate sale bodies for these that could be slapped on a bulldog Mack.  Now if somebody posts a prototype picture of a Kleiber working in, say, Wisconsin woods, l would be interested.  Hard to find early trucks, and there were dozens of makes.
