What is the safest and best way to remove MTH Madison Roofs to change wiring. I want to make the bulbs in series vs parallel to reduce the voltage when using TMCC system on the 6200 series cars from1998,
Any ideas would be helpful. I realize that there are 4 clips on the long sides, but are there clips at the ends.

For most RK passenger cars you grab the ends of the car in both hands and twist. The roof should pop right off.
Prying will almost certainly damage the car.

For the MTH RailKing Madisons, remove the screw UNDER each truck unit (not the ones on the far ends). Then twist the body between your hands.
