I have to say as a dealer York is the best show to sell at, but if I was to go to a train show just to walk around Big E is hands down the best show going. With all the layouts and classes and displays you can't beat it. My only complaint was all those Patriot shirts, what's that about Big Grin

Sean, it was great to meet you in person at the show. I'm sure you talked to a lot of people, but I'm the guy originally from northeastern PA now living in MA. I was with my wife and 7-yr. old son. I told you that I made my first purchase from you (MTH Erie Geeps) based on all the good things I read here on the Forum. Thanks for taking the time to talk!
this is the type of show that will keep model railroading going strong into the 21 first centry , you have top of the line dealers, with state of the art equipment , it is great to see families with small kids, with there faces beeming with joy.this is my 4 year going and it just keeps geeting better,it it well planned , big crowds are not a problem, and you dont here kids saying can we go home now. techman
Had a great time at the Big E. Got the absolutely MOST GORGEOUS handcar I’ve ever seen from Sean with 2 M&M’s on it. They looked good enough to eat. But I'm having too much fun watching them run back and forth and bump into the bumpers. So they're safe for now.

But the real question is whether sweaty M&M's will melt in your hands.

Gerry
This year was my second at the Big E, and I had an enjoyable time except for the muddy parking lot. Unfortunately I missed the get together at the OGR both, so I did not meet anyone from the Forum.

I had a chat with the folks at the MTH booth about the length of time it takes for service. Apparently the MTH Service Department is backed-up from the Christmas Season, so my LIRR Camelback will not be running the rails for another few months.
