The current issue of Garden Railways gave this nice unit a favorable review, and it is apparently well deserved. The output is 0-22 volts at 3 amps max and the handsome black case with the color LED indicators is a nice touch. Easy banana plug power outputs and on/off switch. Usual T-Bar throttle and also reverse and momentum switches. No mention of amount of ripple in output voltage, but would assume it is low. One thing I personally dislike about this unit is the cooling fan is constantly running even when less than peak amperage is drawn, as the noise of the fan can interfere with loco sound systems especially on smaller indoor layouts. (I confirmed the constant fan with a Bridgewerks tech) I have a DC lab power supply also rated at three amps, but the fan has a thermal sensor that will only turn on the fan if there is overheating. Other than my personal dislike of the always-on fan, I would recommend this very nice power supply for smaller indoor and outdoor layouts that need less than mega power! I should also mention it is reasonably priced and several dealers are currently offering it at an introductory price.
