There is a program on cable tv's MAVTV called Full Custom Garage, car builder Ian Roussel goes out to Orange Empire RR Museum's Grizzly Flats Narrow Gauge and builds a Model AA Rail Truck from salvage found at the museum's boneyard with only a photograph to go by. Can't watch that, but would like to see final result...used actual A power? Although the Geese were re-engined, and "modified" to keep on the road.

The OERM shop crew rebuilt the original A 4 cylinder engine, alas, turned out to have a bad head gasket at the reveal. Except for a new front wheel set, all parts used were salvaged from OERM's bone yard. The program will probably added to Full Custom Garage's Youtube channel. For those interested in custom cars or hot rods, check out some of the builds on Youtube.
A "bad head gasket" should have been replaced in any service, much less an engine rebuild, however, l have seen none of it, and know not what they did.
