Thank you for posting this John. Sounds a little rowdy on “The Boozer Cruiser”.
I tried out my first Lionchief Plus 2.0 engine. I have been a Legacy collector for many years and can't believe how much Lionel packed into this model! I am going to have to get more!
My latest buys on a private auction. The B61 Mack came complete w/all the papers and extra's. It's gonna end up on my layout.

I used to ride the LIRR when they ran Bar cars on the evening east-bound trains. They were also the smoking cars..... I had to hang my clothes outside they stunk so bad.
I road the bar car, "Tommy's Tavern on the Tracks" on the LIRR's Port Jeff branch for many years, diesel train.
After Jamaica the first stop was Greenlawn, 40 minutes later. When the doors opened after that time so much smoke came out that one would have thought the car was on fire.
@gunrunnerjohn it looks and sounds awesome
I agree with Corey, Gunrunner has a very nice, but funny looking Subway train, LOL!
It's something different at least. Also, it has local stops, so folks that see it get a kick out of the station announcements.

The one problem with the announcements is that I can actually understand them

Funny you should say that, several people, including my wife, said the same thing.

Yes, cool lights, specifically, enough LEDs for my O22 switches and trains to last me a lifetime.
I got this other day via ePay. I love British model train magazines as they always have out of the box thinking for us Colonials.
I've often dreamed of having the room for a layout that takes place on a museum that sometimes runs freight, with a connection to a class 1 railroad. There's a lot of that in this issue, though of course British-oriented.

Really nice operation John.
I like the stops you made. Can this be set up to auto stop and go at different places or does it have to be manually operated ? 🤔

Apparently, you can program the trolley stops, I just opted for automatic all stops. I'm pretty sure you can have it go a specific distance and stop, that distance can be different for each stop. I haven't done much with the trolley PFA feature for MTH, so I don't know all the in's and out's.
beardog49..You lucky duck...the 1708 Ives stock car (actually produced in Irvington by Lionel) is a "holy grail" I have been trying to find for years. Great pick up
Don
Hey Don, this one has been on the bay for a couple of weeks. Went once maybe twice with
no bids. I did a snipe bid for asking and I got it.
beardog49 Do you remember "where" on e-bay it was? ...I thought I was looking at all the relevant parts of the listings but apparently I am not.
Don
I know that outlaw!

Hey guys, my wife showed me a meme the other day, it was a cat with a $10 bill in his mouth...the saying was " Here's 10 bucks, go buy something in a box!". Here is the foreman of engineering on the L&S investigating the potential for a branch line into the bathroom
Best wishes to all

Federal Express delivered these items to me last week. The blue and cream Lionel trolley is the special registration offer through the LCCA as part of the 2021 convention. It was supposed to take place in Scranton, PA, but was rescheduled for 2025.
This display track of mine isn't electrified, so I will need to try this car out soon.
If you don't recognize the graphic on the side of the streetcar, it is taken from this electric sign in the center of Scranton's downtown. It dates back to around 1904 when it originally said, "Watch Scranton Grow" and it looked like a fountain. In 1910 or so, it was replaced by the sign that said "Scranton The Electric City" using incandescent lightbulbs. It fell into disrepair over the years, and fell dark around 1979. The current sign is a restoration from 2004, with LED lights replacing the bulbs in 2014. The LEDs allowed for the use of more color.
Another box contained the 2021 LCCA Christmas boxcar. At some point, I will need to stop collecting these, since I now have one of these from the LRRC and LCCA from 2009 through 2021.

I gave these LED's from Amazon a try Lionel 51 Navy switcher. Drilled out headlight and press fit the LED and wired in, fairly easy.

beardog49 I will check my settings, I didn't knowingly block anyone

@gunrunnerjohn posted:Saw this on the For-Sale forum and took a shot. It brings back memories, I used to see this train occasionally when I was at 69th Street and at Norristown. It took a little TLC to get it running again, but the price was right. I treated it to a supercap battery replacement and an LED headlight. I may consider LED lighting, but it's more work for this particular set as you have to string them on both sides.
I just bought a set painted for the North Shore Line. Now I will be stringing up trolley wire.
Don McErlean, if the 1708 is a holy grail for you I will be glad to sell it to you. It was listed but received no bids once or twice. I finally bid and got it for asking price. Contact me at jgerding49@sbcglobal.net.

I love the Lionmaster series.
RixTrack,
It’s nice to see a semi-scale review for a change.

One of my friends had to take down his layout due to a move out of state. So bought his Legacy 990 set and this display cabinet from him. I have been toying with upgrading from TMCC to Legacy for some. And this seemed to be the perfect opportunity. Anyone in the market for TMCC base and handheld?
